Charles Eaton grows up on Poplar Street, graduates from Boston Latin School, trains for the stage, and makes his Boston debut in 1833.* He makes his last appearance in Boston, performing the lead in Richard III, at the Tremont Theatre in the fall of 1842. Eaton dies from a fall inside a Pittsburgh hotel on June 4, 1843.
